米丽安·托马森(Mirjam Raen Thomassen)
米丽安是来自挪威阿伦达尔的视觉艺术家,2013年毕业于卑尔根大学艺术学院,获艺术硕士学位。她曾在Sørlandets美术馆、Artendal/Bomuldsfabriken、 Kunstgarasjen 和挪威的 Arteriet 等艺术空间,英格兰、苏格兰、立陶宛、泰国和斯洛伐克等地举办过展览。

米丽安以光线为艺术实践的核心,运用装置、绘画、摄影、实物和特定场域艺术进行创作,将形式美学与城市空间和自然界相结合,研究可见与不可见、地点与非地点之间的转化。她的艺术作品有着对诗意的真诚渴望,强调细腻的情感和简洁的表达。在感性的有形和无形中,她的作品与观众的感知相遇。

2018年4月4日至4月24日,米丽安将进驻TCG诺地卡文化中心。在这里,她将与昆明的艺术家交流分享、进行创作与研究、并举办展览。在此特别鸣谢挪威王国驻华大使馆对本次活动的支持。

本次展览的主题为《灵光乍现》(“Moving Light”)。于2018年4月13日晚19:30在TCG诺地卡开幕,并进行艺术家交流分享。展期为2018年4月13日至4月22日。
在展览《灵光乍现》中, 米丽安主要关注光线的变化。通过摄影,将光线照射到的不同区域显现出来,把不可捉摸的光线在某种意义上变为永恒。一系列的摄影作品就在挪威当地的光线下被创作出来了。这些作品可以看作是特定时空的碎片。光线从此处到彼处,从卑尔根和克里斯蒂安桑到昆明,完成了一种转移。年均日照时间超过2400小时的昆明,接受着与卑尔根和克里斯蒂安桑截然不同的光线。
这一系列画作是用照片、胶水和反光的玻璃粉在画布上创作的。这些画布质地较薄、半透明、两面都可用。照片上的油墨在胶水的作用下渗透进画布,呈现出新的画面和色彩。反光的玻璃粉能够将光线反射回光源的方向,因而丰富了作品的内涵。这些作品是在挪威完成的,但在画廊空间内,本次展览也会受昆明自然光的影响。因此,不同的光线之间将展开对话。
本次展览的目的在于用诗意的方式,站在有关存在的角度上,追问永恒和无形。
相对于我们的存在,太阳是永恒的,阳光是无形的。光线照射到的区域在永恒的运动中成为可见的,但又会消失。这些被光线照射的区域可以解读为短暂显现的空间——不可捉摸又真实可感。
