榕树计划：艺术+偶遇

在北纬地区榕树以盆景中的植物为人熟知，而在热带地区它却被尊敬、爱戴和敬畏。中国南部地区，榕树在当地文化里扮演了非常重要的作用。继泰国、柬埔寨、德国、塔希提岛、库克群岛、斐济、印度之后，昆明将成为榕树计划全球巡展的第9站城市。它将展示超过50位来自20多国的艺术家的绘画、雕塑、录像、摄影和装置。所有艺术作品由德国媒体艺术家阿尔弗雷德•班泽（Alfred Banze）收集。受这些作品的启迪他在全球多个国家的学校、画廊、文化中心、艺术家工作室组织了数次针对儿童和年轻人的工作展示（workshops）。本次展览将展出两部分作品，原始的艺术作品，以及由儿童、年轻人再混合创作的作品，所有作品灵感均来自榕树。上海的刘BB和昆明的罗菲代表了当下的中国活泼的艺术状况。同时也选取了一组2005年在云南艺术学院开展榕树工作展示时创作的作品。
