托马斯·特朗斯特罗姆是一位在近代历史引领着诗歌风潮的诗坛巨匠，他也是一位多产的诗人，作品被翻译成八十多种语言，被尊称为世界共同的瑰宝。
1999年当TCG诺地卡的创办人同为诗人的孟安娜女士提出以诗人名字命名一所即将创办在中国边陲云南省省会昆明的文化中心时，诗人高兴的应允了，并于2001年春天造访了TCG诺地卡的前身T’咖啡。
4月16日我们邀请您齐聚TCG诺地卡，以交流诗歌的方式庆祝瑞典著名诗歌巨匠托马斯·特朗斯特罗姆80寿辰。
TCG诺地卡名字的正解：T 是瑞典诗坛巨匠托马斯特兰斯特兰姆的名字缩写，1999年时由诗人授予特殊使用权；C 是英文单词Culture（文化）；G 是英文单词Galley（画廊）；诺地卡是取自英文单词Nordica （北欧的）意即是一所建立在中国和北欧之间的着眼于文化、艺术平等交流的桥梁与文化中心。
就如译者李笠这样描述过“现代诗人，很少有人像瑞典瑞典诗人托马斯·特朗斯特罗姆那样把诗写得如此精炼、精确、精妙、精彩。”
“诗是某种来自内心的东西，和梦是手足，很难把内心不可分的东西分成哪些是智性哪些不是，它们是诗歌试图表达的一个整体，而不是非此即彼。我的作品一般回避寻常的理性分析，我想给读者更大的感受自由。”如他所言，在他的诗里能找到触动你内心的那种文字，丝丝入扣，不觉造作，极具隐喻和意象，来表达着内心世界，激烈的情感寄于平静的文字中。

托马斯·特朗斯特罗姆简介
托马斯·特兰斯特罗姆（Tomas Transtromer，1931－？），二十世纪瑞典著名诗人。托马斯·特兰斯特罗姆1931年生于斯德哥尔摩，1954年出版第一本诗集《诗十七首》，引起瑞典诗坛轰动，成为五十年代瑞典诗坛上的一件大事。
出版诗集《路上的秘密》(1958)、《完成一半的天堂》(1962)、《钟声与辙迹》(1966)、《在黑暗中观看》(1970)、《路径》(1973)、《真理障碍物》(1978)及《狂野的市场》(1983)、《给生者与死者》(1989)、《悲哀的威尼斯平底船》(1996)等多卷，先后获得了多种国际国内文学奖。
