美国艺术家加里森（Jonathan Aumen）8岁的时候和家人移居北京（1988-1998）。他现在受TCG诺地卡邀请作为进驻艺术家来到昆明。他从2011年7月开始在昆明生活和工作到2012年。他目前正在为2012年2月25日在TCG诺地卡画廊举办的个展创作作品。加里森的作品灵感来自一篇介绍细胞的文章，其中谈到一个细胞复杂如同一座城市，由此引起人们对更深层含义的思考。即将展出的绘画作品将从这个视角来看待昆明。
